Community Trust South provides a helping hand to hundreds of groups each year, from Stewart Island to Glenorchy, Te Anau to Tapanui and all the places in between, by providing funding for community services, events, projects and programmes. The ILT has supported CareerFest Southland over several years and is again delighted to be involved and financially supportive of this year’s event.
The ILT has a proud employment history and is an integral part of Invercargill since its inception in 1944. The Trust is owned by you, the citizens of Invercargill, and our vision is to develop, promote and operate quality facilities within the city and provide excellent service standards in all businesses that we operate.
In this regard the Invercargill Licensing Trust operates a variety of businesses within the hospitality industry including bars, restaurants, hotels/motels, function catering, off premise liquor stores and entertainment venues.
The ILT currently employs approximately 650 people in a wide variety of roles and our aim is to enhance southern hospitality through the friendly, warm and professional service that we offer.
The hospitality industry is a great place to work and provides many opportunities for young people starting out on their employment journey.
